What to have ready before your mobile notary arrives

Have your identification ready and make sure the name on it can be reasonably connected to the name on the document.

Bring the complete document, but do not sign a signature that must be witnessed by the notary before the appointment.

Confirm that every required signer can be physically present and willing to sign. If witnesses are required, confirm who is responsible for providing them.

Share the location, parking or gate instructions, and any facility check-in requirements before the appointment.

For loan packages, keep the documents in the provided order and flag questions for your lender or escrow contact rather than asking the notary for legal or financial advice.
